TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Chairman Alaeddin Borujerdi has harshly criticized a Saudi Arabian TV network for distorting Iran’s image in its news programs.

On Saturday, Borujerdi advised officials of the Al Arabiya network to reconsider their stance and revise the hostile attitude they have taken toward the people and government of Iran.
If Al Arabiya does not revise its attitude, then there will be no need for its reporter to work in the country, the MP stated.
Instead of presenting a clear picture of the existing realities and positive achievements of Iran, the Saudi network is attempting to distort the image of the Islamic Republic, Borujerdi said.
